…for my other half last night. I thought he was ill, fitting or something, but it turns out he was trying to do the Gangnam Style dance!! I genuinely thought he was ill, but when I realised what he was doing I nearly wet myself…nothing funnier than a 31 year old with a severe lack of rhythm and balance trying to dance. This was shortly after he’d tried to complete a section of my Pump FX DVD (free weights to music) and almost had me screaming at him for not having the correct form one minute, and the next laughing at him as he just could not get the hang of following the moves on screen. So quite an entertaining afternoon was had.
It was weigh-in day today, and I lost another 6lbs…so a total of 6st 5lbs, another award, and only 2lbs away from my next award which I hope to get next week. I also got Slimmer of the Week and, not trying to count my chickens, I hope to pick up Slimmer of the Month at next weigh-in too!!
I’ve fallen into a bit of a naughty habit, but it’s working we’ll for me…after my morning weigh-in, I’m tending to have Tuesday off plan and then not having syns (or maybe only a couple) for the rest of the week. I don’t feel deprived during the week, and if I do, then I just tell myself I can have it on Tuesday…however, by the time Tuesday comes, I’ve usually forgotten what it was I wanted! Today’s tally so far includes a Whopper, fries and a very naughty extra of the £1.99 deal of the day, which was a Chicken Royale…my stomach wasn’t up for it though and I had to do a Wacky Races style mad dash home to the loo! I’m now wondering if this cancels out the syns?!! Anyway, the rest of the day will consist of French Fries crisps (my favourite anyway, not just because they’re low-syn), and some Wheetabix mini Fruit and Nut for dinner. This may seem like lots of food to some, however pre-diabetes and me making a hard effort, I’d have had the Burger King stuff, a multipack of Walkers, a family size bar of Cadburys, a six pack of sausages rolls, a takeaway at night, along with anything else I fancied that day…monstrous, and obviously why I have so much weight to lose!
I’ve now completed the 2nd of my 3st mini targets and have to update my chart at home, which is stuck on the wall next to my treadmill, with my smiley face stickers and stars! This simple little task puts a smile on my face! Something else that put a smile on my face was a couple of shift workers that can’t always make class…they were really nice to me and asked how I was doing and said that they could really see the difference! I was secretly thrilled, but tried not to show it too much, but did thank them…it makes a change getting positive comments…I don’t quite know how to react! I think it’s time to get the camera and the measuring tape out again to takes some up to date pictures, as the last time I did this was in July and I’ve lost 4st since then…really hoping that I can see a bit of difference as you don’t really notice it coming off yourself.
Anyway, I’m off to update SW online and to look at my little graph, which no longer looks like a roller-coaster, but instead looks like the side of hill…the downwards side!!
