These little cards actually came out of a book which I will write a review of shortly for you all. It isn’t a ‘diet’ book, but instead focuses on the psychological aspects of training yourself to stick to a healthy eating plan…any healthy eating plan.
I quite like some of them – positive affirmations, reasons to remind you of why you are doing what you are doing…they are good! You could do your own though fairly easily. Pick up a pack of blank business cards and write down your little mantras – ‘I CAN do this’ or ‘Eating healthy food makes me feel GREAT!’ or ‘Fifteen minutes of activity is better than nothing!’ – any comments that you would tell yourself when you are feeling rational really…and then you can look at them when you aren’t feeling rational!
