It’s finally arrived…the night before I start my new ‘proper’ job!
I have to say that I am a bit nervous – which is unusual for me. I also have to say sorry for being so pants this past week…I have gone a bit quiet on the blogging front. Life has just been hectic! The upside of losing weight is being able to get out and about and do so much more…but it means that I spend less time attached to my iPad…so not so much writing gets done!
Anyway – you will need to bear with me whilst I get used to a 9-5 again…or in my case, a 6.30am to 6.30pm as I am cramming in my training before work and will be out of the house a lot. My poor horses won’t get to see as much of me, and nor will my niece and nephew.
I guess this worries me a bit. My life at the moment is fab and supports my healthy living goals. I get to the gym, I get fresh air, I get family time, I get to shop daily and prep my food as and when I want it…I just don’t have as much dosh as I would like.
I am a bit worried that I might slip backwards.
So you might need to nudge me along. I spend so much time trying to help everyone else with their health and fitness goals…I need to make sure that I am giving myself the same attention!
I am going to do my absolute best to keep you updated – even if it’s a teeny tiny blog post. When I can, I will do a better job for you – I promise!
In the meantime, I need to go and pack my stuff up for work.
I have food prepped for tomorrow…
I don’t have to start until 10am. So I am hitting the gym at 6.30am and will then be heading home to grab a shower…and will eat a decent breakfast before taking my Button Moon lunchbox (courtesy of Mr WLB) and my new satchel (courtesy of my Dad) and my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lunchbox (courtesy of me!) to work with me. I wonder what they have in store?!
I will love you and leave you now. I am trying to get a good sleep as I feel a bit run down – my mouth is full of ulcers and I feel tired.
Keep your fingers crossed for me…it’s weird to think that just a couple of years ago, I was stuck on my sofa and not able to stand up for more than a few seconds without being in pain…and I am off to a new job where people have no idea of this…weird…but good weird!
